When you’re planning your photography holiday of a lifetime to New Zealand, come immerse yourself in capturing the beauty of New Zealand’s landscape and I will show you parts of New Zealand which are seldom seen or visited, places which are beautifully ruggedly raw, and I’m not talking about the typical tourist locations – I’ll leave you to see these in your own time!

The places I take you to are locations which you don’t yet know are “photographer’s bucket list locations!” … you’ll come away being in awe at your experienced and the images you’ve captured.

I have, for over 10 years been leading private photography tours for my many repeat North American and European clients, their family and friends.   What my clients love about my private tours is their taking home securely packaged, a selection of their images printed printed in A3+ ready for framing – how memorable is that! My professional photographic Epson P706 printer is bought along and most evenings (over a drink or two) we spend time looking at images from the day and printing them on quality fine art paper.

So, from the time you touch down at the airport or are collected from your hotel, everything is arranged; airport transfers, guiding, accommodation, sumptuous meals, alcohol, flights, water taxis and inspiring photographic locations.  I hold a passenger endorsement drivers licence, therefore can legally drive you in a comfortable four wheel drive vehicle or luxury minivan.  Many of locations where experience in leading photography tours to also have private helicopter flights, scenic train journeys, all terrain vehicle excursions, and [sedate] jet boat rides which are easily included into your itinerary.

Now, let me tell you about your food – you’ll enjoy a selection of fine New Zealand wines and cheeses plus your evening meals are typically freshly sourced from the land, garden and the sea. Each amazing location I guide you to has its own New Zealand beautiful bounty; blue cod, crayfish, abalone, salmon, venison, beef and lamb.

I hold Department of Conservation permits to guide you on the locations I take you to and have a Heath & Safety plan (a legally requirement) which is regularly audited to ensure it conforms to the activity being undertaken.  I also hold NZ Coach Association permits to drive onto Department of Conservation land.

Please contact me to discuss your private New Zealand photography tour requirements. While operating all year-round some locations lend their visit to autumn, winter and spring, whereas others are summer, autumn and spring – let me provide you advice on what is the best time of year to visit each location.

It doesn’t matter if it’s just yourself or with your partner, a bigger group or even a mix of photographers and non-photographers as I am an experienced operator in the hospitality and tourism industry with a wide network of contacts across New Zealand.  An ideal group size is six or less, although if you have group which is greater, I will work with you to make sure everyone has an amazing time.
